Welcome to Inspired in Norfolk Spring/Summer 2010. I don't know about you but I am really looking forward to the next 3 months now the good weather is here. I plan to pack as much photography into the summer months as I can so there's lots going on at Inspired in Norfolk. It's business as usual with our regular "Beginners Digital Photography Workshops". The next one is on the 5th of June and it's filling up fast. So if you are still walking round with your camera on Auto now is the time to sign up.

There's a couple of new things happening for spring/summer 2010. Firstly, we are trying a new venue, the Old Red Lion in Castle Acre. This is one of my favourite locations in Norfolk with the Castle, river walks and Priory giving us plenty photograph. Secondly, we currently recruiting a model who will be joining us for a "Shooting Portraits Workshop on the 3rd of July.

Meanwhile April has been very busy - a group of us enjoyed a photoshoot in the morning sunshine at Thornham on the North Norfolk Coast followed by coffee and photochat at the Lifeboat Pub. One of the students had been up photographing the sunrise at Brancaster - the rest of us were suitably impressed! On a totally different note: I was joined by professional wedding photograper Sarah Bush to shoot the F Project - a fashion project where a group of young women had made their own clothes right through the decades from the 1950s - 1980s - I remember those luminous leg warmers from the first time around!

One-one photography tuition will also be available over the summer months priced at £6o for a two hour session. It's a great option for anyone with a new DLSR who needs help to set up the camera and get started. Watch the website for further news and updates. Inspired in Norfolk was set up by Suzanne Walker in June 2009 to enable anyone with a camera to improve and enjoy their photography. Since then these digital photography courses have gained a loyal following with many students choosing to come on a regular basis.
